That’s the idea behind my annual predictions of baseball’s divisional races. I examine every membership’s file through the earlier three seasons (2022-2024) to the corresponding marks for 1,318 groups that performed through the period of free company (which started in 1976), and I exploit my findings to forecast the upcoming standings.
Parallels from the previous provide hints in regards to the future. That’s my pondering, anyway.
