The Calling of the Hyperlinks
Tho' the phone is ringing,
And the typist ticks away;
Tho' the workplace boy is bringing
Numerous mail to me at the moment,
One thing calls me, one thing lures me,
One thing whispers in my ear:"Come! the solar is out and shining!
Come ! the sky is blue and clear!"
{Oh, its tougher, let me inform you, than anyone thinks.
To withstand that candy, seductive voice, the calling of the
hyperlinks!)Right here, with shopping for and with promoting,
Sordid issues oppress the thoughts;
There, truthful nature has her dwelling
And all cares are left behind.
And the pleasure, past measure,
Of free movement within the air —
Good companions, nice breezes,
And the greensward all over the place!{Oh, it is deep into my bosom that the nation longing sinks.
And I can not select however hear it — the calling of the hyperlinks!)Shut the desk on all of the letters!
Let the dry previous fogies frown
(Although my elders and my betters).
And farewell the dusty city !
One thing calls me, and I am going to reply.
One thing lures me and I fall;
For the cry of "fore" is sounding.
And the whizzing of the ball.(Oh, it is tougher, let me inform you, than the dry previous fogy thinks,
To withstand that candy seductive voice, the calling of the hyperlinks!)Anna Emilia Lang
